NHS Dextrose is a concentrated source of instant natural energy.  It is the natural form of d-glucose, also known as glucose, and is the only carbohydrate that actually circulates through the blood stream and does not need to be converted prior to use by the body. 

NHS Dextrose is a simple sugar (monosaccharide) and has a high Glycemic Index making it beneficial when carbohydrates are needed quickly for energy or recovery from high levels of activity.

NHS Dextrose is an odourless white crystalline powder with a sweet taste.  It is about 70% as sweet as sugar (sucrose) and can be used to sweeten foods and drinks.  It is an excellent source of fermentable carbohydrate for home-brewing or bread making.

NHS Dextrose (Natural) is free from artificial sweeteners, flavours, thickeners and stabilizers.
